Day 2: From Gentle Flow to Thunder – Transfer to Murchison Falls

Leave Jinja early and journey northwest through rolling hills and small towns toward Murchison Falls National Park. It’s a long drive, but the scenery constantly changes—papyrus swamps, rift valley escarpments, cattle-dotted fields.

By late afternoon, you reach Top of the Falls. This is where the calm Nile turns wild. The river, wide and powerful, narrows to just 7 meters and explodes through the rock into the Devil’s Cauldron below. You’ll feel the spray on your face and the roar in your chest.
