Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Where the Nile Begins – Jinja Arrival & Source of the Nile
Depart Kampala or Entebbe mid-morning and head east toward Jinja, Uganda’s laid-back adventure town on the shores of Lake Victoria. Along the way, pass through lush plantations and roadside markets full of sugarcane and jackfruit.
In Jinja, you visit the legendary Source of the Nile—where Lake Victoria spills into the river that crosses a continent. The moment is quiet, still, sacred. Depending on your interest, you can go for a water-rafting encounter to experience the very best of River Nile.
If you’re craving adrenaline, this is also the place to dive in—literally—with an optional white-water rafting experience on the Nile’s wildest rapids. Few rivers in the world offer this blend of beauty and thrill.
Prefer something gentler? Take a sunset cruise instead, drifting along golden waters with a cold drink in hand, as fishermen cast their nets and the sun melts behind the papyrus-lined banks.

Day 2: From Gentle Flow to Thunder – Transfer to Murchison Falls
Leave Jinja early and journey northwest through rolling hills and small towns toward Murchison Falls National Park. It’s a long drive, but the scenery constantly changes—papyrus swamps, rift valley escarpments, cattle-dotted fields.
By late afternoon, you reach Top of the Falls. This is where the calm Nile turns wild. The river, wide and powerful, narrows to just 7 meters and explodes through the rock into the Devil’s Cauldron below. You’ll feel the spray on your face and the roar in your chest.
Later, cross the Nile and enjoy a sunset game drive. Giraffes cast long shadows. Elephants graze in golden light. And lions may stir as dusk settles in.

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Safari on the Nile
Wake early to chase the wild and start your day with a morning game drive that takes you across the open plains where lions stalk kob, jackals dance through grass, and hyenas skulk from night’s hunt. The morning light spills across the savanna, painting everything in gold.
Return to the lodge for brunch, then in the afternoon, embark on a boat safari up the Victoria Nile. Hippos huff. Crocodiles sun themselves. Elephants drink from the shore. Birds dart like flashes of color.
You stop just below the falls—where the river roars louder than thought and mist rises like steam from a sacred spring.
