This 7-day Uganda safari is the kind that rewires your senses. You’ll begin where the wild begins—on foot, face to face with rhinos in Ziwa Sanctuary. Then follow the Nile north to Murchison Falls, where Africa’s longest river rages through a crack in the rocks and spills into the savanna. Spend two nights here, then descend south through Queen Elizabeth’s predator-rich plains, onto Bwindi’s ancient jungle for a powerful gorilla encounter. The journey ends at Lake Bunyonyi—Uganda’s alpine lake of stories—where the stillness will surprise you.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Face to Face with Rhinos – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Depart Kampala/Entebbe after a meet and greet by your Friendly Gorilla safari and start your drive north of the country. After about 3 hours of driving, you finally arrive Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Your first encounter comes on foot—in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

You walk gently, guided by expert rangers through the bush. Then you see them: white rhinos grazing calmly, massive yet peaceful. It’s humbling to stand within meters of these pre-historic giants in the only place they still exist in the wild in Uganda.

After the encounter, you drive proceeding to the top of the falls for a magnificent wild water roaring.  spend the night nearby, with stars above and the pulse of adventure beginning to rise. , where the Nile forces itself through a 7-meter gap in the rock and explodes into white thunder.

Mist hits your face. Rainbows arch through spray. You feel the power.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Safari

Today begins early, chasing the golden hour as the savanna stirs. You might spot lionesses stalking in the long grass, hartebeest standing sentinel, or a leopard slipping back into shadow.

Later, trade land for water. You’ll cruise the Victoria Nile upstream—hippos huffing beside your boat, elephants drinking from the banks, crocodiles sunning like logs. You stop just below the falls, engines off, listening to the raw power that carved this wild land.

Return to the lodge for sunset drinks and stories around the fire.

Day 3: Journey South – Rwenzori Mountains & Queen Elizabeth

Leave the Nile behind. Today is a scenic drive past tea plantations, crater lakes, and if clouds lift—a rare view of the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains.

By afternoon, you reach Queen Elizabeth National Park—where lions climb trees and elephants stroll past fishing villages. Settle into your lodge on the edge of the park. The air is warm, the skies wide.

Day 5: Road to Bwindi – From Savannah to Rainforest
